Entrepreneur mindset is everything when it comes to success and a big part of the the mindset that is required of entrepreneurs and leaders and anyone in a position of influence is to stay alert, sober minded and vigilant. There is a good reason the Bible warns us about this and here’s the bottom line. 1 Perer 5:8 tells us to Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
How quickly we forget we have an enemy who hates us. How quickly we get caught up in the world and stop paying attention to where the enemy is getting in. We have to wake up and realize the enemy is paying attention to us and waiting for an opportune time to devour us and we need to be paying attention! That is why the Bible say to be sober and vigilant and alert!
I had a personal close encounter with the cost of not staying alert and vigilant and it almost cost me a lot! So let this be your wake up call and reminder to be sober minded and vigilant and realize the seriousness of the spiritual battle raging around us. When things are going smoothly in your life this is often when you are the least alert and vigilant and it’s when you need to be the most aware of all. This episode just might be the wake call you need.
