Time is one of the biggest challenges for us entrepreneurs. We get into business and we create businesses so that we have time freedom and then we find that we’re often times working way more than we would if we had a job, right?
I know, I used to be a speech therapist and I had certain times that I would work and then I would be done and there was a beauty in that, there was a gift to that.
Then I switched into entrepreneurship and I became this total workaholic, and I was putting in so much extra time because I was building something that had unlimited potential.
So let’s let’s be real, in this current day and age with the internet there’s no shortage of things to do. You could be a total workaholic. That used to be me so I totally get that, but along the way I learned how to actually balance things. In fact I switched my whole business model so that I had time freedom.
I spent about three or four straight years working about 90 minutes a week still making a six figure income, still serving my clients and having a plenty of time to have a life and do the things that God was calling me to do other than just work.
So I can tell you that it is possible to have time for the things that matter most in your life! If this matters to you I encourage you to listen to this week’s podcast episode “Conflicting Priorities In Faith, Business, and Life.”
